Our open-vehicle safari drives run from as early as 04H45 for sunrise drives through to sunset drives ending around 17H00. Early morning drives give you the best chance of spotting predators still active from the night, while sunset drives offer stunning golden-hour light and evening wildlife activity. Exact departure times may vary slightly depending on the season and drive type.
Yes — all our game drives are led by experienced, FEGASA-qualified guides who know Kruger National Park intimately. Their tracking skills and in-depth knowledge of animal behavior give you the best possible chance of encountering the Big Five and other iconic wildlife during your drive.
Our tour pricing covers the guided open-vehicle safari drive itself. SANParks daily conservation fees are a separate, mandatory charge set by SANParks and apply to all visitors entering Kruger National Park. Please check our fee table or contact us directly for current rates, as these are periodically updated by SANParks.
A Private Safari Drive gives your group exclusive use of the vehicle — no sharing with other guests. It’s ideal if you’d like more flexibility to stop, linger, and explore at your own pace, or if you’re travelling as a family or private group who’d prefer not to join a shared drive. Pricing is a flat rate regardless of how many people are in your group (up to 9): R4,500 for a Half Day drive, or R5,500 for a Full Day drive.
You can book directly through our website using our online booking system — simply select your preferred drive, date, and number of guests. Our team will contact you to arrange payment, which can be major credit/debit cards and instant EFT.
Solo bookings are priced at our standard per-person rate — R900 for a Half Day drive, R1,200 for a Full Day drive. When you get to the booking form and it asks “Bringing anyone with you?”, simply select No if it’s just you, and you’ll move straight through to the next step.
Yes — the more people in your booking, the lower the rate per person. When booking, select Yes on “Bringing anyone with you?” and enter how many additional guests are joining you (not counting yourself). Our per-person rates for shared game drives are:

If you’d like the whole vehicle exclusively to yourselves rather than sharing with other guests, ask us about our Private Safari Drive option — a flat rate of R4,500 (Half Day) or R5,500 (Full Day) regardless of how many are in your group.
We recommend warm layers (especially for early morning drives, as it can be cold even in summer), sunscreen, a hat, and a camera or binoculars.
